Gilda Marchant
Gilda Marchant grew up in a big family in New York State, where the kitchen was the heart of the home. Food wasn’t just meals, it was how her family and community gathered. In 2010, she moved to Florida, and while running a cleaning business, she kept baking and cooking for the Christian community she is a part of and for her friends and neighbors. Those small batches slowly turned into a cottage food business. By 2020, she officially began selling her baked goods. Today, Bayboro Bakery operates from her bread shed, featuring sourdough breads, English muffins, jams, and seasonal specials. All made with the same care and love that started at home.

Gilda loves being part of the Old Southeast Neighborhood artistic community where she continues to shares her baking through her Bread Shed and at local events.
